A Rarity Launches!

VIA CROWN NINE'S BLOG:  We are so excited to announce the launch of A RARITY, our new online “Of The Month” club that will feature independent artists making limited edition handcrafted jewelry exclusively for us.  To get it started, we thought it only fair to have KATE ELLEN, Crown Nine’s store owner and A RARITY curator, to go first.

She decided to make a gorgeous thick silver bangle using an ancient Japanese wax technique called Mitsuro, an artform that only a handful of American artists are reviving.  The bangle has bamboo-like striations, a semi oxidized finish, a three cute little diamond to add a little secret bling to your wrist.
