Our jewelry artists are always blowing us away with their creativity and exquisite details, but this week has felt like Christmas all over again with the new eye-candy pouring in.  Many of our artists are designing one to three collections a year, it's fascinating to see their work continue to evolve and grow as they produce new ideas and flush out old ones.

New Arrivals for Your Weekend

So many lovely new things to play with! 

Welcome San Francisco jewelry designer Kirsten Muenster with her bad-in-a-good-way chain-maille inspired heavy metal works of art.  Each is so meticulously made, with incredible patinas that develop on the body with wear, making each piece personal and unique.

Corey Egan dropped off some new works, including these stunners: a solid silver spine hoop that gets the shivers going up the back for-sure.  Plus some dainty Aspen 14k studs, and her silver and diamond Aspen ring among other delights.

To pair your ring-bling with equally cool nails, we started carrying Best of the East Bay nail enamel, Floss Gloss.   My favorite include Pony, Bikini Coral, and Neo Nacho.  All pro-grade without any of the nasty chemicals, designed in San Francisco and made in right here in the Bay.  Stay tuned for a super DL event we're hosting for our loyal clients and Instagram followers...

Welcome our newest artist at CROWN NINE, Boston artist SOPHIE HUGHES. Sophie’s hand-forged jewelry is an effortless marriage of sophisticated minimalism with a hint of urban edge. We lov e her for using ancient hammering techniques to transform silver into modern, versatile, everyday wearable designs.

In her studio in Boston’s SoWa design neighborhood, Sophie creates custom commissions, unique pieces, and limited-production collections for an intimate selection of shops and galleries across the US and Europe. Each piece is individually and meticulously crafted using a hammer and anvil.  Sophie uses the highest quality reclaimed sterling and gold to minimize new mining, for eco-conscious jewelry.  We welcome her to the Crown Nine family--she will premier on the website along with a handful of other new artists in late summer.

Holiday Hours //

We are taking a couple extra days off this week at Crown Nine to celebrate the holiday-- we'll be back on Friday July 5th from 12-9pm for the First Friday reception for Oakland artist James Gayles. We're super excited for this show as he will be bring new works yet to be seen anywhere. Pop by for a fun summer night of art, food and wine.
